BILLING
We bill on the 1st and 15th of the month. We charge $125/hr for an initial consultation, and bill at $100/hr thereafter. Charges include any site visits, contractor management, creating design boards, sourcing, retail shopping, tracking orders, and communication (including phone calls, texts, and emails). Jen and Katie will often collaborate on projects, especially at install. When two designers are needed, time will be billed accordingly.
COMMUNICATION
We communicate by phone, e-mail, or scheduled in-person meetings. Our hours are Monday-Friday 9-5.
All design communication happens by In-Person Meetings, Phone or E-mail. We love hearing from you, but it is impossible to track the back and forth communication on ideas and orders via text. Email is the ideal option.
GOODS/PRODUCTS
Lead times on furniture and products can be up to 9 months. Right?!? Supply chain issues are rough now. Just know that expected ship dates are not a guarantee and almost always take longer than expected. Custom orders may be non-returnable and items can not be returned after install.
INSTALL
This is the moment you’ve been waiting for. Your big reveal. In order for you to have your HGTV reveal moment, we ask that you are not present while we work our magic. This is the day that we bring in all of the accessories and finishing touches and officially “Make the Room.”
